On Tuesday night’s episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Skye confronts Coulson; Creel seeks asylum; Lance Hunter makes a tough decision; and Fitz makes a connection.
By Tara Moore–
We were starting to think that Skye was pretty comfortable with Coulson being in charge and her taking orders, but this week she went back to her season one pestering self. Yes, now we know that Coulson is hiding something from her, but her begging and prying isn’t going to help her get the truth out of him. And neither is anyone else on the team, since Fitz is too far gone and May is always on Coulson’s side by default.
It’s too bad though, Skye was lied to most of season 1, especially when it came to her parents, but now Coulson’s got a secret about what he does in his spare time, and it’s a little creepy. What’s even creepier, May is videotaping him during this spare time. Meanwhile, when Coulson’s not resisting the urge, he’s catching good agents turned bad turned good again. Lance Hunter, pinned in a truck after Carl Creel took out his ride with long-time partner Hartley out cold. Hunter’s always been in it for the pay out, so he sees an opportunity to let Coulson know he was supposed to sell him out. In a twisted way he still manages to betray Coulson, and in another twisted way Coulson still manages to offer him a job.
We’ll see how that plays out.
